About JR Meyers Foundation

Our Mission

At the Jon Raymond Meyers Foundation, We support youth and underrepresented talent through pathways in STEM, motorsport, entrepreneurship, and leadership development; creating access to experiences, education, and networks that build lasting confidence, capability, and generational impact. 

Our History

Founded in 2025, The Jon Raymond Meyers Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created to honor the life and legacy of Jon Raymond “J.R.” Meyers — a trailblazing lobbyist, proud husband and father, and a man of deep faith whose work transformed policy and people with equal conviction. As the founder of The Meyers Group, a lobbying firm, J.R. cultivated a platform for justice, advocacy, and access that has expanded into capital advisory through The Meyers Group Capital.


J.R. was also a lifelong Formula One fan — always rooting for Lewis Hamilton, always dreaming bigger. The last race J.R. witnessed before his passing was Hamilton’s long-awaited victory at Silverstone in 2024 — a poetic and powerful sendoff.


A relentless champion of women in business and politics, J.R. devoted his life to opening doors for others, especially those who were often overlooked. Whether advocating for DC residents or preaching the gospel at his kitchen counter, his mission was the same: elevate the next generation and build a legacy rooted in service, empathy, and strategic excellence.

We work tirelessly to ensure that our programs and services are meeting the needs of those we serve. Provides annual scholarships for high-achieving students pursuing STEAM degrees at HBCUs.
